LEGAL COUNSEL

AUSTIN SCOTT O’TOOLE, Esquire

Practice and Experience & Professional Scope

From small business, family, estate planning and real estate related advice, to their related transactions and disputes, attorney Austin S. O'Toole has developed both a broad litigation practice and reliable advisory role for clients- who often return to him for the handling of both.   Taking insight from this, Austin has continually developed the skills and strategies essential to a sharp and tried approach used to handle a wide array of his clients’ issues. Just steps away from the Suffolk Courts, Attorney O'Toole has represented individuals, families, insurance carriers, Trustees in Bankruptcy, petitioners, litigants and defendants. Whether in Superior Court, Bankruptcy Court, District Court, or Federal Court, his career's work has been on a broad range of matters, cultivated by his passion for justice and a honed intellect for the law. Attorney O'Toole’s intensive trial and motion practice experience has made him at home with state and federal administrative agencies, as well- such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Office of Labor and Workforce Development, the Real Estate Licensing Board, and the Board of Registration in Medicine.  His work as an advocate in the probate and family courts have left him deftly conversant with nuptial issues, and  estate planning issues as well.

After graduating from Boston College High School with a classical Jesuit education, Austin attended Tufts University where he completed his four year college education earning cum laude honors and a dual degree in International Relations and Economics. He went on to earn his Doctorate of Jurisprudence at Suffolk University Law School, again graduating with honors. Attorney O'Toole also has a Florida office, where he has been a member of the bar for over 30 years. Established in 1996, the downtown Boston practice has never limited Attorney O'Toole's range of geographical contacts, or his reach of experience from the various cities and counties outside of Boston. Attorney O'Toole has represented clients in the courts and communities of Orleans, Wareham, Fall River, Lawrence, Dedham, Hingham, Newburyport, Plymouth, Springfield, Worcester, Peabody, Salem, and beyond.

All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom, justice, honor, duty, mercy, hope.
